Born in Japan and based in California, Yoko Morimoto is a photographer specializing in lifestyle, portrait, editorial, and commercial photography. She began her career in Tokyo, working as a photography assistant in a fast-paced commercial studio before moving into digital post-production, where she developed a strong foundation in color, retouching, and visual storytelling.

Today, Yoko works with local businesses, international clients, and Japanese publications, creating imagery that feels natural, authentic, and human. Alongside her commercial work, she creates personal fine art projects that have been exhibited in selected galleries, including Cannabis Flower Gallery, Hive Gallery, and Band of Vices.

Yoko runs on music and coffee and is happiest under the sun with a camera in hand. When she's not shooting, she's probably hanging out with animals, chasing new ideas, or riding her motorcycle along the California coast.
